Westmoreland Pillar and Sunburst Amethyst 8" Carnival Glass Bowl This vintage carnival glass bowl is in very nice condition and has a gorgeous iridescence. Westmoreland originally referred to the Pillar and Sunburst as Elite. The pattern is on the exterior of pieces only. Pillar and Sunburst was made only in bowls and extremely rare plates. The colors produced were limited to marigold and amethyst. The last recorded sale of an amethyst Pillar and Sunburst bowl by D Doty occurred in 2007.
