Fenton Stag and Holly 8" Green Carnival Bowl. Stag and Holly is a wonderful Fenton pattern that has inspired mimicry. Original Fenton Stag and Holly pieces have distinguishing characteristics that illuminate the imitations from the authentic: a tongue that extends past the lips and almond shape eyes are two distinguishing traits. This Stag and Holly bowl does not bear the Fenton logo as is correct for a vintage Fenton piece. The Fenton Stag and Holly bowl is in good condition; rated good rather than excellent as there is a minute nick on the edge of the bowl. This nip is not visible without magnification and is identifiable primarily by extensive examination. Despite the minor flaw, this is a gorgeous piece with excellent color and iridescence.
